Figuring It All Out

I’ve been working at my job since the Fall of 2007. I worked for a full year before I was promoted to LA3, student supervisor. I worked for another semester as a LA3 before going to France. When I got back almost everyone was new. I’ve now been working here another semester as an LA3.

I got to work today and the girl I’m working with, who started working when I was in France and is now an LA3, asked me when I became a supervisor, like it was a week ago. I said quite a while. And she said ‘O, I guess since we’ve never worked together I didn’t know.’ I’ve probably introduced myself to her like 5 times and she always acts like we’ve never met before or I just started working here. Plus we worked back to back shifts all semester where she saw me doing the LA3 tasks. Am I really that forgettable!?
