I packed up my car and drove to Tulsa on Tuesday. My parents put me to work yesterday doing the Christmas shopping and wrapping the presents. The traffic and crowds weren’t as bad as I thought though so I didn’t mind much.
The weather in OK is crazy. It’s always changing and you really never know what it’s going to be like the next day. Yesterday the high was 57 and it poured raining. Right now it’s 27 and there’s a blizzard warning. On Tuesday I wore a light jacket with a short sleeved shirt. The temperature changes are so radical. Keeps you on your toes I suppose.
Well, today is going to be a crazy day.
- wrap the rest of the presents
- bake a pie
- clean the house for the family coming over in the morning
- Make broccoli casserole
- make jello salad
- go to a Christmas party with my parents’ friends
- go to the Christmas Eve candlelight service
- go to Ihop with friends after service
- sleep for a couple hours before it’s time for the family to come over
