The first month of 2009 I was terrified and nervous beyond belief. I’d never left the country alone. I had never been across the ocean. Stepped in it, yes. Flown over it, no. January was spent preparing for the best experience of my life. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I wanted to back out so much but I knew it would be the biggest regret of my life. It was the one thing in my...
FedEx just delivered my textbook
I can no longer live in denial that I’m not taking an intersession class.
New Years Eve celebrations tomorrow!!
Too bad the people I really want to hang out with are in Norman. I should drive down just for the night. Kali would probably hate me if I did that. I’ll just have to wear my happy face and roll with it.
It's snowing!
Friends is on!
This show never gets old
I’m taking an online class over the break. I, of course, didn’t order my book till the last minute. I ordered it Tuesday morning and paid for fast shipping (2-3 days). I knew because of Christmas it would take longer but I thought it would be shipped by Wednesday but no. It wasn’t shipped till yesterday. Now it’s sitting at FedEx in Memphis. My first assignment is due on...

It's 4 AM and I'm just now going to bed
The family was busy busy setting everything up and cleaning the house. Procrastination definitely runs in the family. We set up 80% of our decorations up tonight and a third of those we put up after midnight. If we didn’t have family come over for breakfast every year I don’t know if many decorations besides the tree would even be brought in from the attic.
Well, everything is out,...
I packed up my car and drove to Tulsa on Tuesday. My parents put me to work yesterday doing the Christmas shopping and wrapping the presents. The traffic and crowds weren’t as bad as I thought though so I didn’t mind much.
The weather in OK is crazy. It’s always changing and you really never know what it’s going to be like the next day. Yesterday the high was 57 and it...

a hundred text messages and one phone call later
my friends have convinced me to go out. Gah I hate when they get me to cave. Now I have to make appearances at 2 bars and end up at a party to see 4 completely separate groups of friends. Why can’t they all just happen to favor the same bar?
I was going to go out tonight for crazy end of the...
but I’m not, because I really don’t feel like it.
O my gosh, I'm graduating in May
from college. I can’t believe it. It’s still months away but o my gosh, it’s just crazy. I had to fill out a form yesterday for my diploma. yea, diploma. I had to write how I wanted my name to appear and where I wanted it to be mailed to. Ahhh it’s really becoming real.
I found out yesterday that I still need one more...
looks like I’ll be taking a fourth ceramics class. I’m excited I get to take a ceramics class again but I’m a little bummed I’ll be enrolled in 18 hours next semester.
Since 4 of them are studio classes I’ll actually be in class for 6 hours every week per clas. That means I’ll be in class for 30 hours a week and working approximately 15 hours every week. So...
getting a graduation check in 30 minutes
kinda nervous. hope there aren’t any surprises.

I went to the city and did some driving around
I ended up visiting the state capitol and the OKC Bombing Memorial. I took some pics and just enjoyed being alone. I’ve visited the bombing memorial 5 or 6 times. It’s still hard to believe such a horrible event happened there. April will be 15 years since it happened, I was only 8 years old. I remember the news coverage, the stories, everyone was in shock. I still can’t believe...

I just counted my sheets of single sided photo...
OKC here I come.
ten sheets of paper seems like a good enough reason to me.
I was going to go to the city today to buy some double sided photo paper but this morning when I was getting ready I realized I don’t really need any. I just feel like buying something. Now I’m bummed out because I don’t have a reason to drive to the city. I don’t even like OKC I just want a change of scenery. Maybe I’ll drive up there anyway.

My aunt just told me to steal papers off the...
She called to get my dad’s work address and when I told her I was ready to get out of school she told me not to rush because then I’ll have to work. I said I’d rather work than write papers. Her solution: “O what’s the big deal? Just take one off the internet. Lots of people do it. It’s ok if you don’t get caught.” She cracks me up.
I forgot I have 1 more assignment to do.
